If you’re writing SQL against your data source, Chartio will detect what database you are using and take the SQL syntax appropriate to that data source.
For example, if you are querying a PostgreSQL database, then the syntax used would be PostgreSQL. The same would be true for MySQL, Google Analytics, etc. When querying against a data store or CSV, these would use PostgreSQL syntax. When creating a dropdown or date slider, you would also use the syntax that the original database is in.
