Visual SQL Keyboard Shortcuts

Sometimes dragging your cursor and clicking over and over again can feel tedious, so to make your life a bit easier, we’ve added some convenient keyboard shortcuts to help you build your charts faster!

Available shortcuts

• Command + click (Mac) or Ctrl + click:

  Select multiple columns from the schema browser; the schema browser won’t close between selections

• Command + Return (Mac) or Ctrl + Enter:
  • Run a Query
  • Cancel a running Query

• Command + Shift + F:

  Formats your SQL query in SQL Mode

• Return or Enter:

  Applies and saves an Action, except for Add Query and Filter Rows

• Esc:

  Cancels and closes an Action form if no changes were made to it

• Command + Z (Mac) or Ctrl + Z:

  Undo

• Command + Y (Mac) or Ctrl + Y or Ctrl + Shift + Z:

  Redo
