How to remove a user from Chartio

How do you remove a user who no longer uses or needs Chartio? Well, buckle in! This is a fast and easy process! There are two ways, but the first one is easier.

1st Way

  1. Are you on the Owner’s team in Chartio? If yes, please proceed. If no, please go find someone who is to remove this user.
  2. Click “…” in the the top toolbar and choose “Settings”.
  3. Click on “Users”.

  1. Find the user you are looking for and click on their name. Once clicked, this opens the user’s profile page.
  2. At the top right, click “Delete User”.
  3. Chartio will take you to a new page asking if you’re sure you want to remove them. (We like to super duper confirm you wish to delete this user.) Click the check box next to “Yes, I want to remove XXX@abc.com from {Company}.” Then click “Remove User”.
  4. If you didn’t mean it, click “Cancel”. No one will ever know!

2nd Way

  1. Are you on the Owner’s teamin Chartio? If yes, please proceed. If no, please go find someone who is to remove this user.
  2. Go to the Teams Page by clicking on the “…” in the top toolbar.
  3. Find the user and click on the user’s name and email address (it will highlight itself all at once). Once clicked, this opens the user’s profile page.
  4. At the top right, click “Delete User”.
  5. Chartio will take you to a new page asking if you’re sure you want to remove them. (We like to super duper confirm you wish to delete this user.) Click the check box next to “Yes, I want to remove XXX@abc.com from {Company}.” Then click “Remove User”.
  6. If you didn’t mean it, click “Cancel”. I won’t tell anyone.
