Combine strings from multiple columns

Data Pipeline

We have a Combine Column step in our data pipeline that can be used to merge data from two or more columns.

However, what if you want to combine them with no separator, or you want to add some text when you combine these columns? We can do this with an “Add Column” step in the pipeline.

We will select to add a column and use a custom formula. We can use double quotes to select the columns we want to combine. For example, I want to combine an email column with a name column. I use the formula: “email”   “name”
We will use the   bars to concatenate the two columns. We can use this to insert text as well:
For example: ‘users email’   “email”   ’ ‘   ‘users name’   ’ ‘   “name”
